16 February, 2021 - Parallels®, a global trailblazer in cross-platform solutions, has announced a new strategic distribution agreement with Synnex Australia, a leading IT solutions aggregator with a strong channel heritage in Australia. Synnex Australia will now distribute Parallels’ out-of-the-box cross-platform solutions to 6,000 plus channel partners across the region under this agreement.
Synnex Australia, through its enterprise-grade Synnex cloud marketplace, helps its partners efficiently provision and manage their software subscriptions. This allows managed service providers (MSPs), enterprise resellers, and system integrators to provide their customers with cost-effective and straightforward “as a service” IT solutions.
The addition of Parallels’ products to the Synnex cloud portfolio will allow partners to lower their operational expenses as they add new customers and expand their recurring subscription revenue streams. Synnex’s partners can now provision and manage all Parallels’ products subscriptions through a single pane of glass.
This collaboration also provides Synnex’ partners with virtualisation solutions that meet their businesses’ diverse needs and expand their private, public, and hybrid cloud implementations. Some of the Parallels’ products that Synnex Australia will distribute under the agreement include:
Parallels Remote Application Server (RAS). A secure, all-in-one virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) solution. Parallels RAS facilitates remote working by delivering virtual desktops and applications to any device on any platform—including HTML5-compatible browsers.
Parallels Desktop for Mac Business Edition. A simple, fast, and robust solution for running Windows on macOS without rebooting. For more than 14 years, Parallels Desktop for Mac Business Edition has been the go-to solution when it comes to running Windows on macOS for more than 7 million users.
Parallels Desktop for Chromebook Enterprise. A simple, out-of-the-box solution for running full-featured Windows applications—including legacy software—on Chromebook Enterprise devices.
Parallels Mac Management for Microsoft SCCM. A plug-in that allows IT administrators to leverage Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) to manage macOS endpoints.
