Business Development Representative - QLD

We are looking for a driven Business Development Representative who is highly motivated to join our Sales team based in Oakleigh South (currently WFH).

About the role:
As a Business Development Representative in our Sales team, your role will be to maintain and build successful business relationships with new and existing partners and increase sales volume by maintaining best practice in customer service.
In this role your can expect your day to include the below responsibilities:
- Be able to perform a strategic plan in the development of new business
- Ensure that sales targets are achieved, including any strategic company focus categories
- Build effective relationships with key accounts through effective account management tools (become their trusted advisor)
- To report on a monthly/quarterly basis to the team on the development of market, by highlighting strengths, weakness, opportunities, and threats
- Be able to be proactive in daily call outs activities
- Increase sales volume from key accounts as allocated but also increase the breadth of trading base
- Be able to capitalise on any sales opportunities and be aware of any weaknesses in the sales process with key accounts
About you:
- 2 or more years' experience in a similar role, whether it be through another distributor, vendor or reseller
- Have completed TAFE qualifications or university graduate preferably with a major in IT (desirable)
- A current driver's license and own vehicle is essential
- Proven track record in achieving sales results and meeting KPIs
- Ability to build new and effective business relationships and maintain, develop and set revenue budgets & targets
- Ability to understand customer needs and requirements and also the ability understand the market requirements and needs
- Understanding of current product knowledge and have the willingness to improve upon it
- Flexible and proactive approach to business
