About the role:
Reporting to the Head of Cloud Services and Ecommerce, your main responsibilities will be:
- Collaborate with project manager and project sponsors to understand/determine project scope and vision.
- Conduct interviews to gather user requirements via workshops, questionnaires, surveys, meetings, then create workflow, storyboards, use cases, user stories and other methods to document the requirements and pass it on to development team.
- Create and maintain documents such as FRS/FSD/SRS, BRD, Wireframes/Mock-ups, RTM, Use case diagrams, Change request documents.
- Research, review, and analyse the effectiveness and efficiency of existing requirements gathering processes and develop strategies for enhancing or
further leveraging these processes.
- Input to production of test cases to ensure features and functions have been delivered to requirement.
- Analyse and verify requirements for completeness, consistency,
comprehensibility, feasibility, and conformity to the overall business model.
- Drive and challenge business units on their assumptions around how they
will successfully execute their plans. Distinguish user requests from the
underlying true needs.
- Translate conceptual user requirements into functional requirements in a clear manner that is comprehensible to developers/project team and all stakeholders.
About you:
The ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent interpersonal skills, while also possessing the technical knowledge required to successfully undertake the role.
- Bachelor's Degree in IT or equivalent or;
- 3 years’ experience as a Business Analyst in Ecommerce
- Hosting infrastructure, Cloud tech and UX Design knowledge desirable
- Experience in the requirements gathering, workshop facilitation and guidelines teams on Scrum and Agile principles and practices
- Extensive Business process knowledge
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, Viso, Microsoft Office or Google collaboration suite preferred
- Experience using cases modelling, SQL, Data modelling and wireframing
- Experience with Client/Server n-tier architecture, MVC, .NET, Cloud computing, licensing and subscription models preferred
